The Mime Jr. dashed off into the grass. Lunik sighed. That was the third one today that had ran away. He patted Scyther on the head. It had been a long day, for both of them. Lunik had been looking for another member to add to their team. He loved Scyther, and he had faith in his prowess, he didn't believe he could take on a Gym Leader with only one Pokemon. Well, maybe the first few. But after that it would get a whole lot harder, and he planned on having a full team with him when he took on the Elite Four.

Lunik was looking for any Pokemon, but would prefer to catch a Psychic type. He had always had a soft spot in his heart for them. Which was strange, as it was a rare occasion for him to spot one. They appeared to be avoiding him today. The only ones he had encountered were the Mime Jr.'s, and they had seemed to be playing with him before they fled into the grass. Lunik sighed again; it appeared he would have to return to Gale Town empty handed. He and Scyther walked through the grass for another thirty minutes or so, and found no sign of any Psychic Pokemon.

Disheartened, he turned to go back home when he saw a brief flash and a rustling in the grass. He grinned; this journey may not have been a waste of time.

The wind rustled and the Pokemon in the trees whistled along to the tune of the wind. Slowly and cautiously, the grass parted, and a small figure leaned out to look through at the pair. "Abra?" The figure leaned out and slowly approached, before shimmering and disappearing. "Abra?" The small Abra was standing behind them, staring at them in suspicion. It then laid down on the ground, and nuzzled close to it, appearing to fall to sleep.

Lunik watched as a small Abra appeared in the grass in front of him, and then disappeared just as quickly with a bright flash. He heard a soft thump come from the grass behind him. He whirled around, faintly aware of Scyther doing the same, albeit at a speed faster than was humanly possible. As he saw the Abra behind him, he smiled slightly to himself. He knew of the teleporting ability Abras expressed, and therefore knew he would have to be careful when attempting to catch it. It was rumored they could even use their powers while asleep. Which meant the apparent drowsiness of the Pokemon would be of no help in this situation.

Figuring it would be best to act quickly, Lunik pulled out a Quick Ball. It was unknown to others how he could tell the difference between his Pokeballs, as they were all a dark blue and black color. He quickly threw the Pokeball and was silently elated when the Abra was caught within. He watched the Pokeball anxiously, waiting to see if the Abra had been caught.

The quick ball slammed into Abra, who was immediately sucked into it. The ball shook once, twice, three times before stopping. After the sound indicating a successful capture a few seconds passed before the Abra popped out of the Quick ball and looked around confused. Spotting Lunik his Scyther the Abra teleported and appeared sitting on Scythers head.
