Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie] Empty Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie]

”Chuuu” Niko grumbled, rolling around on the bullet train sea, pointed eyes twitching as he seemed to be getting a feel for the smooth seats, tail curling close against his body. People minded their own business and the young Pichu minded his, while Simon watched him intently. He held a small cookie in one hand, nibbling on it silently while thinking, mostly of the new pokemon he had gotten not long ago in the forest The pidgey had gotten along well with its new trainer, and that meant less trouble when training came around, but then again he had only been with it for a day. Niko was calm when they first met, now he was less calm, but not as wild as he could be.

His eyes averted to the countryside breezing by him outside, green grass and some trees, though the train was going to fast to make out what kind they were. It was likely that he was close to Skyvane. Sure he could have simply walked there, but Niko was very adamant in that they take a train, and he didn't want to be on the bad side of that spirited little mouse. So he walked the extra distance to take the train, and time was wasted, but it wasn't like he had much to say on that anyway. ”Not long now.” He noted resting his hand on a hand, eyes closing, half way when he felt the Pichu jump into his lap and curl up. It seemed like he got the same idea and decided to take a nap too.

Simon ran a few fingers through the ruffled yellow fur, before letting himself drift off into blissful sleep, until the train whistle sounded and he woke with a jolt. Though his Pokemon still lay still on his lap, only stirring lightly at the sound, as if it just did not want to wake up now. He smirked, chuckling to himself, and shook Niko awake, which released a small jolt of electricity that nearly brushed across his finger, and would have hurt a lot. The sleepy eyed Pokemon glared at him for a second before unfurling from his sleep and standing to his feet. Even if they were friends, Simon still felt like Pichu didn't completely like him. He listened to orders, and whatnot but then again maybe he was being rebellious. Even if he didn't hit the teenage stage yet.

”Alright, lets go Niko.”With that, the small Pokemon leapt on his shoulder and was off with him out of the station. People milled around him and some stared at the Pichu perched upon his shoulder, but right now Simon had his own objective. The local Pokemart of Stormstone asked him to deliver something to the Pokemart of Skyvane, and that was what he planning to do, and somehow he was right on time. Well it was the day that he was expected to be there at least, and that was good enough.

”Chu, chu chu, piiiichu.” He seemed to be talking to himself, as he flicked around a strand of Simon's hair, but he ignored it for now.

”Well looks like i'm here, so mind as well get to work.” He had no idea what was in store for him on this delivery though, and it would be probably one of his more hectic days really.

Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie] Empty Re: Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie]

After some time spent on Sunsail Island having accomplished very little other than a start to a journey, Lenard was finally leaving the island. He was on the ferry to Skyvane City. The ferry ride was a bit uncomfortable. The weather today was quite windy. It made the waves continue to rock the boat as it traversed the water towards its destination. As a result, it was making him a bit queasy. Oh how he did not like being on this thing. He was waiting for the trip to be over already. "Is it over yet?" went through his mind like a mantra of pure madness. He was starting to feel a bit seasick as they finally approached land.

The ferry arrived at the docks and the passengers were let off. Lenard got off the ship in a daze and took a moment to rest. Once he was feeling better he headed to the city. First to the pokemon center where he let his two pokemon out so they could be checked over real quick. The process took several minutes, during which he sat in the waiting room hoping everything would turn out okay. Finally the nurse came out and gave him back his Torchic and Magikarp. "Everything's okay." she told him with a smile. "Oh good." He said relieved. He thanked her and looked at his pokemon. Torchic looked happy and all good. Magikarp looked bored while it flopped around a bit. Lenard grabbed his pokeballs and put them both back in them and left.

He walked around the city. It seemed like such a nice place. It had a gym, just like Sunsail Island did, but he did not feel ready to challenge a gym leader just yet. He wondered who this gym leader even was. Then again Lenard had never even met the gym leader back home at Sunsail island. He had met some of the people that worked there, and some of the trainees. He would probably find out one day. When he went back there to challenge whomever it was that led that gym. This one too, and the others. In the meantime he should be doing pokemon trainer things. Catching pokemon and training them up. It was the way to do things after all. Before heading out of the city to the local areas where wild pokemon could be found he stopped by the pokemart to see what was in stock. The person at the counter was talking to a fellow employee about an incoming delivery of apparent major importance. Lenard was curious of what it could be. It was really none of his business though.

Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie] Empty Re: Trouble in the Sky [Closed to Forcie]

Simon weaved through the crowd at the small train station, making sure that he nor his pokemon did not manage to bump into anyone while they made their way to the Pokemart. Simon had never really been outside of Stormstone, so he felt like a Magikarp out of water right now, but he had Niko, so he was not alone. He could have let Pidge out for a bit, but then again he wasn't for now. Niko still didn't get along with it, and any attempts at trying to mend their relationship would only lead to trouble. Perhaps it was the initial thundershock when they first met that did, but whatever it was, Simon would fix it one way or the other.

”You have any idea where we're even going?” Simon asked his Pichu.

”Chu.” He said back with a shake of his head, confirming that they were both very lost. Simon inhaled deeply, nibbling on his lower lip. He was hopelessly lost, but that did not have to be a permanent state, as long as he made sure to look for the big sign that usually signaled a Pokemart. They were usually obvious, and the building itself had its name above the glass doors, which was easy enough for anyone with eyes to see.

So for now he would have to go walking about, until he found what he was looking for. Alot of unwanted exertion for sure, but then again it was nothing compared to the walk from Stormstone, and one that was spared him by the train. Most of the buildings were not remarkably large, though a few ranged to about three stories, but the Pokemart stood out among all of them. It seemed he had found his destination afterall, and not a moment too soon it seemed. Simon dug into his backpack, and pulled out a rather large looking bundle. ”And we're here.” He said walking through the door, which opened up for him.

The cashier looked at his bundle, and almost as if by magic he knew what it meant. He placed it on the large counter, Pichu jumping down onto the it, and rubbing a small paw along its pink cheek pouches, tail flicking about. ”This is from the Stormstone Pokemart, just like you asked for.” It looked like all of this was over, that being until he saw what looked like a blur, and the small bundle was snatched up. A Spearrow flew past him, and perched on a single persons arm. Thier features were covered in a black cloak, except for full red lips that seemed unhidden by the dark
shadow cast by the hood.

”Easier than I thought.” She said depositing the object within the fold of her cloak.
